A sustainable development can be interpreted by a typical sayings of my granny 'If you earn 10 rupees in a month, don't spend it in a single day'. So you should not eradicate the natural resources in a single phase you should utilize for a long time this is known as sustainable development as per environmental protection act.

There is a sayings in our family 'you should not sell your assets to eat'. its indeed that you should not sell your assets to eat, if you? then one day you will have nothing to eat. Natural resources are the assets of our country. what's the need to export them?. our country is blessed with abundant natural resources so why can't we utilise them for our development.

Goa's iron ore is the largest exporter, The supreme court, now allowed to resume its activities after 18 month with an condition. The condition is, it can make output upto 20 million tonnes! Is this a sustainable development ? If we exported these natural resources then what will we do for our future needs? we had seen that India re imports its product for high price to meet out its demand. This will happen to this case of natural resources.
